We want to provide you with an update on our response to the COVID-19 health emergency.  A.C. Miller is monitoring the status of the outbreak and will be updating this posting with any additional information as it becomes relevant.

A.C. Miller is committed to protecting the health of its employees, while seeking to minimize any adverse impact on its customer service as best it can.

A.C. Miller’s management team meets daily to assess the Coronavirus situation while monitoring information provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), for any potential adverse effects in the precast concrete industry.

On March 19, 2020, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf ordered the closure of all businesses in Pennsylvania that are not Life Sustaining.  The Governor’s Order included a list of the life sustaining business industry groups that are exempt from his Order, and which may remain open.  The Cement and Concrete Product Manufacturing industry is considered a life sustaining businesses, and shall continue operations.  The full list of life sustaining business industry groups that are exempt from the Governor’s Order is attached in this link:  https://www.governor.pa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/20200319-Life-Sustaining-Business.pdf

We are, therefore, permitted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to remain open, and are operating on a normal schedule to serve your needs while adhering to all SAFETY protocols.

As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to escalate in the United States, A.C. Miller is taking additional preventive measures, such as site entry restrictions and enhanced daily cleaning schedules using sanitizing solutions in high-touch, high-traffic areas, to stop the potential spread of the disease within both our locations in Spring City PA and Blairsville PA.  We are carefully observing the social distancing practices and mitigating other measures recommended by the CDC to protect our employees and customers.

A.C. Miller is communicating regularly with its vendors and suppliers to capture updated status information. We will keep customers informed of any potential future delays in the delivery of customers’ orders due to vendor delays, or limited manpower at our facilities, caused by the Coronavirus.
